Silly Bella Rose

Bella is my LOUD child! She is the girl who would benifit from a brother to get dirty with and play out in the forest. Right now she is singing a song she learned at Sunday School this weekend.
"Pray everyday" "Read you Bible everyday" "and you will GROW GROW GROW" * did i mention it is a the TOP OF HER LUNGS? huh...that is my sweet Bella Rose

Second day in a row!

I am on a ROLL! I am gonna show my tree since i will be starting to take down the decor today. I love when my house is decorated for Christmas, because i makes it feel more cozy. I guess it is the glow of the lights and the look on the girls faces when it is dark and they get to turn it on.

I was happy with our tree, but i wanted to do my all red and silver glitter ornaments. Kaya put her foot down and said that is no fun. So we did a kid tree again...i tell myself that when they are all grown and out of the house i will do my tree how i want. Who am i kidding! That's when i will cry as i put out the family ornaments on the tree. Merry CHRISTmas!

WOW...i have been a lame blogger~

My modivation for blogging was for the Grandparents and friends that are not on FB to have a little in-sight into our lives up here in WA! BUT....almost everyone i know is on my FB now! Oh well, let the good times ROLL! I will still try to keep this up so i can add the bigger story when fun stuff happens! Oh boy does it happen here! Or should i say OH GIRL! hahaha
I have been very busy with the family. We went "home" to AZ for Thanksgiving and had a great time! It was wonderful weather and i did LOTS of hiking!

Here are just a handful of our Holiday pictures and New Years hasn't even happened yet! That must mean i am back on the blog scene! MERRY CHRISTMAS! Cheers to a Happy New YEAR!

Patio is completed

This is the final product! We finished our patio. I LOVE IT! I get to sit out here and wait for Kaya to get off the bus. This turned out exactly like i wanted.
Romeo did the backbreaking work of cutting all the bricks on the edge so it could be curved. I layed most the bricks and together it is PERFECT!

ohhh...Bella!

We have the funniest little girl named Isabella! That is usually then name that i end up YELLING when i discover what she has been up to! On this day she had been begging me to open the dress-up clothes box. I have it in a tub that is child proof, otherwise it will end up ALL over the house! Well i gave in and this is what i got! She is so funny and she know it. Bella will walk around the house just singing her songs...now these aren't just any songs! They are ones that she makes up depending on how her day is going! So if you have upset her, you will FOR SURE be in her song! Bella is truly a BLESSING FROM GOD along with our other 2 blessings! We are very lucky parents.

Fall Decor Box for troops in Iraq

Each month friends from our church and I have been sending things to my good friend Marya who is serving our country in Iraq (or close to that). I started out making boxes with shampoo and stuff like that for the 4 girls in her company. But if kinda morphed into theme boxes that are JUST FOR FUN! This past box had a fall theme and we got a bunch of kids together and we made fall leaf stained glass decorations with melted crayons and wax paper.
We also included in the box some other fall decorations like plastic flowers and gords. :)
We included apple cider powder drinks, peanuts and apple sauce. The kids had a great time making the leaves.

I got a message from Marya that they got the box and they really enjoyed it! Halloween box is next! hmmmm...what to make?

1st day of school 2nd annual neighborhood breakfast

Our baby is a 5th grader! Can that even be true? I guess so since we are both in our 30's now...ugh. Well here are the pictures of the big day.
This is the 2nd year that we have held a neighborhood breakfast for all the kids at our bus stop! Each family brings some yummy food to share and it makes for a fun time and a perfect photo time!

I am already sad thinking about next year...Kaya wont be on the same bus with these kids! She is the only 5th grader and Bella is only 3. So that means next year we will have a middle schooler and a preschooler! So we cant do the breakfast with everyone, because she will have already left half an hour earlier than everyone else!

Kaya was nervous for school this year. She has a male teacher and really none of her friends in her class. I told her that this may be a blessing! A male teacher will be better at handeling 5th grade boys and no friends in class means she can listen and learn easier! She is the Student Council Secretary this year for the school so she will have PLENTY of time to socialize with her friends and lots of other students!

THIS WILL BE A GREAT YEAR!
