ZUMBA

OK, if you have not tried this addictive workout in descise as it is referred to! YOU MUST!!! It is an incredible workout that goes so quick (1 hour feels like 15 minutes) but you can burn up to 1000 calories in that time if you give it your all. It is a Latin dance inspired work out that will have you shaken it on the floor. I am addicted, but it is a wonderful thing to be addicted to.
I am a mommy of 3 so i can take this time for myself (and let daddy see how life really is at home...added bonus). I come home so refreshed! And on the days that i get to look forward to ZUMBA is always a great day!

I want raisins!!!!!

OK...picture anywhere between 4:00am - 6:00am and out of a dead sleep you hear "MILK" and "I EAT FOOD". Over and over and over. Then daddy (if he is still home) will save the day with a sippy of milk. Once she is officially up for the morning "I EAT RAISINS" is all that i hear until I fulfill the request! But beware if you ever have her over to your house...evidently no raisins are safe!

What's up dude!!!

So it all started when Kaya walked into the room one evening and Bella very nonchalantly said "what's up dude" and we were hooked on trying to get her to say it all the time! I don't know why she yells it, but that makes it even funnier! Sometimes she will say it and other times she will look at you like she has no idea what you are asking her (if someone else is there). But when Samuel was over (her 10 year old boy crush) she would say it for him! So sit back and enjoy! P.S. she had just come in from getting muddy then hosed off and that is why she is in just a diaper...we dont normally have the kids looking like that. Hahaha!

Mom's Birthday!!!

Friday the 15th was my Birthday and I am officially 29 years old for the 1st time...I think I may use it for a few years to come :). Well my wonderful family made me feel so special! Kaya made me a card and tried hard not to argue all day! And my good friend Shanna watched the 2 little ones for us so we could go and have a grown up dinner (Italian). It was a real date! Romeo even opened the door for me...once. Hey, i am not complaining. I will take what i can get. So after dinner on the way home we decided to get some cupcakes and go to a park overlooking the Puget Sound just after sunset! It was lots of fun, until the creepy truck pulled up. So we went home and played with my NEW IPOD and watched LOST on the computer. I wanna know how the whole show ends (NOW). But that is a whole other BLOG. All in all this was a great birthday!

FlugTag Portland "Spaceballs" 4 JAMCO

We went to Portland to watch the Red Bull FlugTag since a bunch of people from Romeo's work made a vehicle and entered the contest! We had no clue just what we were getting ourselves into when we arrived. There was an estimated 80,000 people there and us...with our double stroller! Can you say "good luck" getting through a mall, much less shoulder to shoulder people who could care less if you say excuse me! Ya, so needless to say we were lucky to see a monitor of the skits and vehicles. Oh and did i mention that it is a 3+ hour drive from Seattle to Portland and we missed his group by maybe 10 minutes ( I blame the stroller). Oh well we had a nice overnight stay in a hotel and visited with family!

Hiking with the girls

A few weeks ago we went hiking and it was a blast! We hiked up to a waterfall that is about 10 miles from where we live. I had Sierra in my Moby pack, Bella was on daddy's shoulders, and poor Kaya had to walk ;). It was a great time with the family, once we reached the mid-falls Sierra wanted out and wanted to eat...but Bella had other plans. She is the busy two year old that everyone thinks is soooo cute (until she gets tired). Well she wanted to explore and daddy wanted to rest...not so much! Bella won! It was so hard to get Bella to sit for a picture. Thankfully Kaya is such a wonderful big sister she is as patient as a 9 year old can be. But she is a huge help when we need it! We love all of our girls! It is amazing how different each one is from the other. I truly believe that God has a sence of humor and it is very evident with our kiddos!

Blueberry picking!

Days like Saturday are why i love where we live! We took the girls blueberry picking and had a wonderful time. Kaya had a friend with her so she was entertained which is always good! Isabella was in blueberry heaven. She loves to pick berries off daddys bushes in our backyard, but those are young bushes that dont make many berries yet. Needless to say daddy does not like when she beats him out there! So when she saw rows of blueberries she went to town (even though the berry guy told us not to) let her touch the bushes...what fun is that? Romeo was also having a great time filling his bucket. Sierra and I just hung out chasing Isabella up and down the rows! These are the days that remind me why we left AZ to move to the Liberal (ugh) beautiful NorthWest!
