MLK Jr performance for school

Kaya had a speaking part in this years Martin Luther King Jr. performance. She did a great job working on her lines. She wanted to make sure she said all of the words correctly! She had told me that she was nervous, but i knew once she was up there she would do great! And sure enough she DID! I am so proud of the beautiful young lady she has become! I got her speach on video, but i was also holding on to Sierra with one hand and taping with the other. Well she decided to pull on the camera cord, so the video is jumpy. I will try to post that on here. For some reason it will not upload.

SURPRISE!

It was a beautiful thing! What you ask...when Romeo and I got back home from our way to a "fake date" and he had no clue what was waiting for him on the inside of our front door! His face says it all!
He received some lovely OLD MAN gifts! Everyone did a great job and he was having a great time with the gag gifts!

Romeo's cousins came from Vancouver to be a part of the surprise!
Oh and for this desert it was SOOO good! Thanks Chris!
So for the record I HATE surprises and i already threatened Romeo that i would not be a happy girl if he ever did this to me! With that said i am glad that he is so easy going and his friends made it a great night!

So I got creative this year!

You may be wondering why I am just now posting this...well these were the Chirstmas gifts that I gave to a few people. So I couldn't show it before!

I purchased the ornaments and painted them a solid color. Then I decopaushed (sp)paper and stickers on them. Once they were all dry i also added some "bling".

I just love making crafty stuff...it is in my blood!

My buddy Shanna and I are already brainstorming what we can make for gifts next year. We plan to get started soon!
P.S. I loved the family & dream one so much I kept them!!! (Is that bad?)

Snow days!

We had so much snow before Christmas! It was lots of fun and we took advantage of the days! Our backyard turned into a winter wonderland! This was nice since the girls could go outside and play all day and I didn't have to worry!

Kaya was sitting funny during this picture which is why she is making a funny face! Our local christian station was asking people to send in pictures of their kids on the snow day...so i e-mailed this one of the 3 girls and they posted it on their web page! Very cool!

Poor Sierra...I had to dress her up in the bunny warm suit for some pictures! I just love how they turned out! We love the snow!!! Sorry AZ we are not coming back any time soon! So come up and visit us!

Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas eve visiting our church in AZ CCV. We met up with our friend Venetia and her daughter for the program. It was great to see them. Kaya is such a big helper when it comes to kids! She will be a wonderful baby sitter!

Oh Sierra...she always has a look of shock in all of her pictures! (look at our Christmas card) I promise she is really a smiley & happy girl!

I love this pic of Bella...even though it isnt even she has such a sweet look on her face. This is not a look i see often in real life! She is a wild child.

God has blessed us with a wonderful family! Merry Christmas!
